Amaranthe's "Re-Vision" Music Video:
A Cinematic Masterpiece by Patric Ullaeus and rEvolver Film Company
Renowned Swedish director Patric Ullaeus of rEvolver Film Company, in an inspired collaboration with the sensational band Amaranthe, has set a new benchmark in music video production with "Re-Vision". This cinematic tour de force, helmed by Ullaeus, is not just a music video but a gateway to a potential cinematic universe.
A Visionary Achievement Amidst AI Revolution
"Re-Vision" is a remarkable testament to Ullaeus's meticulous planning and artistic vision. Extending far beyond traditional music videos, the project combines extensive casting, elaborate sets, and awe-inspiring locations. The abandoned Cold War-era military base, used as one of the filming locations, adds historical depth and authenticity, resonating with current societal concerns over AI and technological dominance.

Subterranean Spectacle and Real-World Allure
The video's notable features include scenes shot hundreds of meters underground in colossal mountain rooms, once used for storing jet fuel. These locations offer a unique and visually stunning aspect, enhancing the overall atmospheric tension. The diverse locations, including underground bunkers and battlefield settings with real military vehicles, add grandeur and authenticity to the video.

Patric Ullaeus commented, "We wanted to create something visually striking and thematically resonant. The world of 'Re-Vision' mirrors our society's complex relationship with technology and AI."

Ensemble Cast, Detailed Costumes, and Props
The video showcases a stellar cast in meticulously designed costumes, capturing a dystopian future ruled by technology. The attention to detail in props and costumes, along with the authentic locations, provides an immersive experience, underlining the narrative's relevance to contemporary discussions on AI.

A Team Effort
The success of "Re-Vision" is a testament to the collaborative spirit of the project. Ullaeus and his VFX expert Rob Erixon, whose voice sets the video's tone, worked closely with Amaranthe to create a visually stunning and emotionally resonant piece.

Future Cinematic Aspirations
The enthusiastic reception of "Re-Vision" has motivated Ullaeus to consider expanding this narrative into a full-length movie, suggesting rich potential for a cinematic journey.

A Bold Step in Visual Storytelling

"Re-Vision," directed by Patric Ullaeus and brought to life by rEvolver Film Company, is more than a music video. It's a bold statement in visual storytelling, blending music, narrative, and cinematic excellence, captivating audiences worldwide.

"The band has found a new expression that reflects the new album. We are happy to exclusively be able to share the first single from it! '365' is the beginning of another new era, that leads us into the 10th year as Amaranthe. We can not get enough of the moments that immortalize our unit. 365 and a day, that's how you know...
It was great to be back with Patric as a director for the video. Enjoy and stay tuned for more to come very soon," says Elize Ryd.
"'365' is everything that Amaranthe stands for in 2018; fresh, innovative and with an extra dose of heaviness and raw strength! As a very first taste of 'HELIX', the song powerfully declares that we are not slowing down, nor getting stale, but constantly renewing the definition of Amaranthe, while staying very true to our core sound. Being back working with Patric Ullaeus again was as natural as it was inspiring, and resulted in a take no prisoners, no holds barred video, and shows off the band from a more raw side than ever before. Amaranthe is back - and how do you know? '365' and a day - that's how you know," exclaimed guitarist Olof Mörck.

"With the high-octane energy of singles/videos
'Digital World' and 'Drop Dead Cynical',, we wanted a slightly more mellow third single," guitar Olof Mörck explained. "The choice fell upon 'True', which provides a great contrast with its hopeful yet melancholy lyrics and style. To match this with the perfect video, we once again turned to mastermind Patric Ullaeus, and the result is an inspiring and engaging take on how your dreams and visions don't always turn out the way you planned. But instead, there might be something greater than you hoped for down the line, as long as your heart stays true."

Comments guitarist
Olof Mörck:
INVINCIBLE is probably my favourite AMARANTHE song so far, and it’s very exciting to see it finally becoming a single and a video! We had an absolute blast shooting it, and this time we flew in Patric Ullaeus and his crew to some kick-ass locations around the USA. People have come to expect elaborate videos from AMARANTHE, but this one certainly takes the cake!"

Mörck: "After the immense response to the 'Hunger' video, receiving close to 100,000 views in a few weeks, we have quite big shoes to fill with the new video — but Patric's ideas are pure genius, as always, [and] his working methods are spontaneous and flexible but always fit our own vision perfectly.
